Allie Scarberry, RVT
Hospital Manager
Allie has been working in the Veterinary field for over 10 years now and has worked as a kennel assistant, a Veterinary assistant, then graduated from the Yuba College Veterinary Technician program and got her license as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Allie has worked in small animal, large animal, and exotic animal medicine, but found her true calling with emergency medicine to be able to be a voice for the animals that don't have one. She is a sucker for the jumbo drooling breed dogs, owning 3 herself, which she calls her furry family.

Brittany
Veterinary Assistant, VACSP
Brittany brings 13 years of veterinary experience to Animal Urgent Care of Rocklin, joining our team in April 2025. She has a special interest in emergency medicine and TCVM (Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine).
Brittany loves working alongside like-minded colleagues who share her passion for providing high-quality care to animals. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and caring for her many pets—3 dogs, 9 cats, and 15 chickens!
A unique fact about Brittany is that she shares a medical condition most commonly reported in King Charles Cavaliers—Chiari Malformation. She is dedicated to giving a voice to patients who cannot speak for themselves and treats every animal as if they were her own.

Courtney
Veterinary Assistant, VACSP
Courtney joined Animal Urgent Care of Rocklin in 2025 as part of our opening team, bringing 2 years of experience in veterinary medicine. Her special interests include neonate care, catheter placement, and assisting with sedated procedures..
She thrives in a fast-paced environment and values the strong teamwork and friendships she’s built with her coworkers. Outside of work, Courtney enjoys hiking, traveling, and shopping. At home, she has three beloved pets: Willow (Pittie), Aspen (Pittie), and Maverick (XL Bully), along with two kittens, Ash and Nash..
Courtney’s favorite part of her job is being a source of comfort for both patients and their families during stressful times.

Sierra
Veterinary Assistant, VACSP
Sierra joined Animal Urgent Care of Rocklin in 2025 with 3 years of veterinary experience. She has a particular interest in sedated procedures and wound care.
Sierra loves her job, her coworkers, and the hospital cats that brighten her day. In her free time, she enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, camping, working out, and riding horses. She owns a warmblood horse named Easy and has been riding for over 20 years.
Her favorite part of working in veterinary medicine is being an advocate and voice for her patients, ensuring they receive the care and compassion they deserve.

Kaitlyn
Veterinary Assistant
Kaitlyn has been working in veterinary medicine for over 7 years and joined Animal Urgent Care of Rocklin in the Summer of 2025. She has a special interest in caring for cats and loves the fast pace and variety of cases that come with working in urgent care & emergency medicine.
Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys reading and spending time with her pets: Remi (German Shepherd), Biscuit (terrier), and her cats Smudge, Trillian, and Misty (OSH).
A fun fact about Kaitlyn? She’s never broken a bone! Her favorite part about working in urgent care is seeing animals improve and helping families feel reassured when their pets are on the mend.

Veterinary Assistant
Emily is a Veterinary Assistant with over two years of experience in veterinary medicine. She joined the AUCR team in 2025 and has a strong interest in shelter medicine and urgent care. Emily enjoys the fast-paced, team-driven environment of urgent care and loves that every shift brings something new to learn. She is currently working towards earning her RVT license and is excited to continue expanding her skills.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with her pets, including three dogs—Kujo, Cooper, and Sophie—and two domestic shorthair cats.

Nicholas
Registered Veterinary Technician
Nic joined Animal Urgent Care of Rocklin in 2025 and brings three years of veterinary experience to our team. He has a special interest in surgery and anesthesia, and he thrives in the fast pace of emergency medicine where every case brings something new. Nic loves being able to provide care to pets when they need it most and finds it especially rewarding to see patients go home happy and healthy.
Outside of work, Nic enjoys hiking, painting, and playing board games. At home, he has two beloved dogs: Havie, a Golden Retriever, and Pebbles, a Chihuahua. A fun fact about Nic is that he first got his start in veterinary medicine working at a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center.

Registered Veterinary Technician
Erika is a Registered Veterinary Technician who joined the Animal Urgent Care of Rocklin team in 2025 and has been working in veterinary medicine for five years. She enjoys learning about all aspects of patient care and values being able to provide high-quality medical skills. Erika is passionate about client education and helping pet owners understand what’s happening with their pets during stressful situations. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her dogs and horses. She’s also known for her calm confidence when working with even the spiciest cats.

Registered Veterinary Technician
Haley is a Registered Veterinary Technician with seven years of experience in veterinary medicine and joined AUC Rocklin in 2025. She has a special interest in supporting the unique medical and respiratory needs of brachycephalic breeds and enjoys the fast-paced, efficient environment of urgent care. Haley finds great fulfillment in helping sick animals feel better and supporting their families through difficult moments. Outside of work, she loves baking and cooking and shares her home with three pugs—Penelope, Hank, and Moose—as well as her Himalayan cat, Jade.

Bella
Client Service Representative
Bella joined Animal Urgent Care of Rocklin in 2025 and is one of the friendly faces that greets clients at the front desk. She has a passion for helping animals and loves working alongside the team while seeing pets receive the care they need.
Outside of work, Bella enjoys spending time with her family. At home, she has a Border Collie mix named Ella and a brown tabby cat named Uni. A fun fact about Bella is that she is the oldest of five siblings, and her family is originally from Russia.
Her favorite part of working in veterinary medicine is watching the joy on owners’ faces when they’re reunited with their pets after treatment.

Lexi
Client Service Representative
Lexi has been working in veterinary medicine for two years and joined the team in 2025. As a Client Service Representative, she is often the first point of contact for clients and their pets, and she takes pride in helping families feel supported from the very beginning of their visit. Lexi has a strong interest in neonatal care, surgery, and rehabilitation, and she loves working alongside a knowledgeable, passionate team that is always willing to teach and guide one another.
Outside of work, Lexi enjoys crocheting, hiking, sewing, and making jewelry. She shares her home with seven cats—Wybie, Katana, Sage, Chito, Mama, and Baby (a tortie)—and jokes that she attracts cats like a magnet.
Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is being the first step in a pet’s healing journey and helping families feel cared for and supported during stressful moments.

Artichoke
Hospital Cat – Chief of Cuddles
Artichoke is our friendly (and sometimes overly enthusiastic) greeter at Animal Urgent Care of Rocklin. Known for his shameless love of personal space invasion, he believes every visitor is here just to pet him—and he’s usually right. Whether he’s sun bathing next to a warm window or on a printer trying to “help” with paperwork, Artichoke keeps morale high with his affectionate personality and quirky charm.

Arugula
Hospital Cat – Director of Discretion
Arugula prefers to operate on her own terms. She’s our elegant and mysterious sphynx queen, always watching the hustle and bustle from her favorite perch. While she may not be as forward as her brother, she’s an expert at making a quiet entrance when the moment (or the treat) is just right. Those lucky enough to earn her affection will tell you—it’s worth the wait.
